DXY — Live 10-Second Candles

Each candle is built in your browser from live ticks received during one 10-second window. No prices are invented: if the feed stops, the chart pauses and shows a stale warning. DXY is the U.S. Dollar Index, a weighted measure of the dollar against six currencies.

How to read it: Green candle = DXY closed above its open in that 10 seconds. Red candle = closed below its open. The thin line through each candle is its high–low range. The dashed line is the latest index value.

Live source: https://biquote.io/api/latest (one batched request per second, no API key). The page first looks for a direct Biquote DXY/USD X quote. If none is quoted, it calculates the ICE U.S. Dollar Index from the six Biquote FX mids with the published formula: DXY = 50.14348112 × EURUSD^-0.576 × USDJPY^0.136 × GBPUSD^-0.119 × USDCAD^0.091 × USDSEK^0.042 × USDCHF^0.036. A calculated value can differ slightly from an official ICE quote because the six feeds update at slightly different times. Forex stops quoting from Friday night to Sunday night, so outside market hours the last known value is shown and the status pill will say STALE. This is a price display only, not financial advice.
